Hello! My name is Melanie! I am a lifestyle photographer located here in Gardner, Kansas! I just recently graduated from Gardner-Edgerton High School! My photography journey actually began during my sophomore year of high school. I sort of, might have forgotten that photography existed until I was scrolling on Instagram one day and came across some people I graduated with and saw that they loved doing photography, so I gave it a try for real this time! I found how fun it could be again. I definitely love photographing seniors and families the most, but I would LOVE to start photographing the kiddos and pets! My approach
I approach each session with a blend of creativity, intentionality, and a deep love for capturing natural, emotive moments. I’m drawn to warm, earthy tones that highlight genuine connection and bring out the richness of Kansas landscapes, but I also enjoy creating cool-toned images when the mood or setting calls for a more modern, crisp feel. My goal is to tailor each session to the unique personality of my clients—whether that means leaning into golden, cozy warmth or embracing soft, colder hues—while ensuring every photo feels authentic, timeless, and true to the memory we’re capturing.
